Again hundreds turned away. Joke.
Some photos from last Saturday showing a Christchurch bowling club beside a sports ground with real people in it. Not like the photo of Hinemoa Park on the same morning. Look hard and you will see 2 kids by the swings.
We will be contacting you regarding this meeting as soon as we get a venue (which we all know is difficult) .
7pm sharp. Members bring your partners and friends and we will help them with their submission.
CHECK YOUR EMAIL THE VENUE INFORMATION IS THERE NOW!!!!
This event will now be played on Saturday 31st March at 1.30pm. For entry please call your match committee. First 32 names will play.
Ian McNish won the Singles Championship against Peter Rosanowski at Rangiora green (because we are held up building our own) in an extremely tight game. At one stage it was 12 all and Ian had scored 12 singles. The game finished about 7.20pm and the guys continued to play really tight bowls. They had both been playing since 9am. Well done Ian. Good luck in the Champion of Champions.
This is just a wonderful display of someone having too much money and too much time, but it is tops.

Well what a great day this was, the weatherman did his part, just in time. A very big “thank you” to Tracy and Ross for their effort.
To everyone who turned up and made the effort to support the team trying to keep the Club together, a big “thank you” as well. It was really funny watching how everyone gets so up tight over the simplest game or task. Talk about competitive.

I really hope he didn't hear about me last week.
Peter Rosanowski, Brian James and Jim Adams will play
Warren Stanbury, Athol Johnson and Ross Bennetts in the triples final to be played after Christmas. Well done 2 very deserving teams.
A copy of the letter to the Editor Northern Outlook
“With reference to Graham Burt’s letter suggesting Wylie Park ideal for temporary housing (Nov 16), I suggest the points he makes also make it ideal for a central sports ground for children. I can only find one G Burt in the phone book: they live close to Himemoa Park
Could this be a case of not in my backyard? Maybe those protesting Hinemoa Park may want to welcome the bowling club back. We have already lost a domain in our backyard”.

Trevor this is your second well thought out letter, one day you could belong to our club, being such a deep thinker. I also saw through the Nov 16 letter and checked the same info.

Hi Everyone
Please contact Ross Bennetts to tell him or Tracey how many will be going to the picnic. The idea is that the club will supply meat for a BBQ and you to take your own picnic. It will be to hard to arrange a sharing process so your picnic will be your picnic.
There will be all the fun of an old time picnic, races , game, and some secret fun.
The Club needs everyone to make a special effort by attending this event.
You can see the latest teams hot from the Selectors.
